Mundakai Chooralmala disaster intervention
On October 22, Neethi Vedhi staff visited the house of the Mrs Devayani, the survivor of Mundakai - Chooralmala disaster.

Neethi Vedhi team visited various camps from July 30 and provided psycho-social support. Neethi Vedhi worked especially among tribals and migrant labourers.. Their information was collected. As a first step food kits, cloths, mats, blankets etc. were distributed. We visited the indigenous people of Erattukund who have settled in line houses at Chooralmala. Neethi Vedhi intervened in the temporary rehabilitation of Indigenous families from Punchirimottam. Neethi Vedhi team visited the disaster affected area. Neethi Vedhi attended various meetings held by the district administration and Inter Agency group Wayanad. In order to facilitate better interventions we had discussions and meetings with various officials such as Panchayath president, Tribal department, labour officer, etc.
